Testimonials

Getting divorced is a trying time laced with anger and full of emotion. Mine was also during the beginning of the pandemic and we had to navigate meetings through Zoom. I interviewed many attorneys prior to my consultation with Attorney Myers. After my consultation with her my mind was at ease.

I greatly appreciate everything that Sherry did for me in my case. I had an uncontested divorce that should have happened very quickly. My first lawyer had my case for almost a year. After several mishaps, I sought counsel from Sherry. She was able to pick up my case and complete my divorce for me within a couple of months.
Kathy
She has a wonderful way of presenting the facts so that I was able to see the whole picture...past and future. She kept me focused and on track...which is difficult to do sometimes. So Sherry was also my counselor; a sort of life coach. If you're having to start over in life, I glad Sherry was there to get me started in the right direction.

Sheery had to file numberous Motions and Requests for Orders and all were done efficiently. Sherry explained every step of the process to me and answered any questions that I had about the proceedings. She understood how difficult all of this was for me and did all she could to make the process as painless as possible.
Dianna
She is honest, will listen and cares about her clients. While she does need to be paid for a living, she won't bill for erroneous & unnecessary charges. Her client's interest is of the utmost importance. I have let all of my friends know about the amazing job that Sherry did and the amazing person that she is!

Sherry was born in York, Pennsylvania but has lived in many different parts of Pennsylvania throughout her childhood. Sherry ultimately graduated high school with high honors from Portage Area High School in Portage, PA. Initially enrolling as an Accounting major at St. Francis College, Sherry ultimately decided that Accounting was not the career path for her. After taking a 10-year hiatus from college, Sherry re-enrolled at Stevenson University (formerly, Villa Julie College) where she graduated summa cum laude earning a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies. Sherry subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree, graduating with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
While at UB, Sherry earned a concentration in the field of Family Law as well as several certifications in Family and Child Access Mediation. Sherry also participated in the University of Baltimore's Family Mediation Clinic where she assisted parents in working out their own unique custody agreements. In addition, Sherry also successfully assisted families facing foreclosure of their homes by utilizing mediation to prevent the foreclosure process.
While she was completing her bachelor’s degree and throughout law school, Sherry spent 8 years as a litigation paralegal for various law firms in the greater Baltimore area. During that time, Sherry also started Paralegal Services Plus, LLC, offering paralegal support services to Baltimore area attorneys on a contract basis.
Sherry first earned her license to practice law in Maryland and, just a few short years later, also earned her license to practice law in Pennsylvania. Before starting her own firm, Sherry worked as an associate attorney at Summerfield, Willen, Silverberg & Limsky, LLC, in Baltimore, Maryland. While at SWSL, Sherry was fortunate to gain experience in many areas of law including, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Landlord/Tenant, Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation, and she has represented numerous clients, from the District Courts up to the appellate-level courts in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.
In March 2015, Sherry opened The Law Offices of Sherry K. Myers, LLC, with offices in Baltimore, MD and York, PA. The Law Offices of Sherry K. Myers, LLC is a boutique firm offering zealous advocacy in family law matters as well as services designed to address a variety of other family-related issues.
